A Princeton Wedding

Maya and Anthony’s wedding was one of the first 2017 weddings I booked almost 2 years ago, and it really felt like it was so far away!  Maya contacted me after her Maid of Honor, Kaitlyn, insisted she contact me.  I met Kaitlyn years ago when I worked at Pryde Brown Photographs, and she assisted me with many weddings.  It’s been years since I worked with Kaitlyn, so it caught me off guard when I was doing family portraits and she read my mind about getting a reflector to keep the lens flare out!  We’re talking about a Maid of Honor/photo assistant!  They don’t get much better than that!

I finally met Maya and Anthony face to face at Short Hills mall where we spent an hour over coffee and tea going over all of their carefully planned details for their wedding.  They helped me navigate every detail of their wedding so I knew just what to look for, from engraving in the bracelets, to superhero socks, to DIY bouquets and centerpieces (which was beautifully arranged by her bridesmaid, Hina!)

Every aspect of this wedding had some sentimental value, and gave us so much to photograph!  There were tears and laughter, and we really felt like a part of the family.  Thank you Maya and Anthony for including us in your wedding day, and Kaitlyn for your wonderful assistance and referral!
