A Casual Central Park Engagement Session
“We always walk Central Park with our coffee on Saturday morning.” Michele told me when choosing a place for Michele and Ryan’s engagement pictures. This was also the very place where Ryan proposed to Michele. Taking engagement pictures in Central Park is the absolute perfect way to document their life together.
Next month we were supposed to be celebrating their much awaited wedding, but like most 2020 Spring weddings, the celebration will have to wait. To think, just one month ago, all of our fears revolved around whether the weather would cooperate! We did not foresee the massive change in plans for the spring wedding season. When I spoke to Michele about postponing, she said “I want people to hug and embrace and enjoy the celebration, not live in fear.” Fortunately, I will be photographing their Edgewood Country Club wedding this Fall instead! Postponed, not cancelled.
While I’m not able to photograph any engagement sessions right now, it brought me such joy to revisit these Central Park pictures from last fall. Michele and Ryan are so sweet with each other, and I am so grateful that they chose me as their photographer. October may seem like a ways away, but it will come, and I cannot wait!
