An Intimate Wedding at Natirar
When I first spoke to Zenia about her wedding, she was already planning an intimate mid-week wedding at Natirar. It was supposed to be in mid-May, but early on in the pandemic was not going to work for her any get togethers.
Fast forward to September, and her wedding at Natirar finally arrived! Unfortunately, her parents couldn’t make it into the country to celebrate with Zenia and Washington, but Zenia’s sister had the honor of giving Zenia away.
After getting Zenia dressed in Natirar’s bridal suite, she and her sister hopped on a FaceTime call with their Mom so she could see her beautiful daughter dressed as a bride! It was such a sweet moment! It’s amazing the way we can connect with loved ones so far from us with the technology we have. The iPads were set up at the ceremony location and many other loved ones could witness the wonderful occasion where Zenia and Washington finally became husband and wife!
As they walked back down the aisle, their guests threw dried flower petals over the newlyweds! I just love this idea of showering the bride and groom!
While the guests enjoyed cocktail hour, I got to spend some time with the couple and just capturing that just married joy that was so evident in their faces! I know the feeling of smiling so hard it hurts, but it’s almost impossible to help when you are that happy!
Back to cocktail hour, and we were able to get a group picture of all the guests before they sat down for dinner. It was a short wedding for me, but full of love and life.
Zenia and Washington, thank you for making me a part of your special day! I am so happy for you and hope always bring as much joy to each other as we all witnessed last Thursday!
