Summer Engagement Session in Cape May
The best way to learn about a new place is to spend quality time with people who grew up there! Mike grew up in Cape May, and when the pandemic had everyone working from home with nowhere else to go, Palak and Mike opted to spend their quarantine there! I couldn’t imagine a more picturesque location, than Cape May, to spend a very long spring and summer. The victorian houses and quaint beach make this hardly look like “the Jersey shore.” Palak and Mike had a list of their favorite places for their engagement session, from colorful Victorians to the beach where Mike proposed!
We ended the engagement session with a beautiful sunset at very tip of Cape May’s beach. At this point, all neat and tidy clothing was sacrificed for some fun pictures! We let loose and stomped through the ocean, and got soaked! Totally worth it – I think they are my favorites!
My husband and I decided to make a weekend of this trip and stayed overnight to enjoy this adorable historic town. Palak and Mike recommended some fantastic restaurants! They’ve been saved to a list so I can get to them all! If you’re in Cape May, take it from a native, and be sure to check out Mad Batter, Congress Hall – The Blue Pig Tavern for some American fare and Ebbitt Room, if you’re in the mood for some elegance and seafood!
