Hamilton Farm Spring Wedding
I often say that my favorite wedding is the one I’m currently working on, and I do mean it! However, Katie and Mark’s wedding was such a joyous event, I could cry! After a year of not knowing what one week to the next would look like, this first wedding of the year is a miracle. Katie and Mark’s wedding was full of loved ones, smiling faces and genuine joy for the newlyweds. Now, I know Katie and Mark had to fight for their wedding and make a few changes, but it was all so worth it.
For many brides and grooms in 2021, their wedding is the first time they’re seeing loved ones in over a year. As humans, we were made to come together, to live in community with each other. Yet, we’ve had to sacrifice so much to come out the other side. Does that not make every wedding this year so much more special? To see Katie’s Grandmother’s face light up when she sees her granddaughter as a bride is absolutely priceless. To have a cocktail hour where friends and family can catch up and share stories about life is a gift we might have previously taken for granted. To have a sea of your community dining together and witness your first dance as husband and wife reminds us how much we are loved.
Katie and Mark, your wedding was absolutely beautiful and we are so grateful to have been a small part of it. It was such a joy to capture every moment! I hope you are relaxing and enjoying every moment of your honeymoon in Turks & Caicos!
