Vibrant Autumn Wedding at Fiddler’s Elbow Country Club
Taylor loves the fall! Not only is it the most colorful time of the year, but it’s also Taylor’s birthday month. With so much to celebrate every autumn, it’s no wonder that she and John decided on a peak fall weekend for their wedding day! Taylor and John couldn’t have planned a more perfect day. The colors are exquisite right now, and that’s not easy to plan! The rolling hills at Fiddler’s Elbow boasted yellows, greens and rust orange – the very color at the center of all of the wedding details.
When I arrived to collect Taylor’s details, I had a bag full of the expected items – an invitation suite, shoes, rings, and then unexpected items. Mini liquor bottles and a diamond ring shaped wine cork. It was a little preview into what would be a fun bride with her bridesmaids! I think every bride lights up a room on her wedding day, but I believe Taylor lights up a room on every other day as well. She is a ball of positive energy who kept everyone smiling all day long. Smiling for eight hours straight is quite a feat. You just have to ask, John. However, from the moment he saw his bride in the front of Fiddler’s Elbow, his smile was permanent for the remainder of the day.
We jumped into a golf cart and found the best spots with the most beautiful foliage. We didn’t have to go far! One of my favorite spots on the property is the collection of maple trees by the Black River, and we spent quite a bit of time enjoying the colors before meeting up with the rest of the wedding party.
The ceremony overlooked the golf course as the sun began to set behind the golden trees. After being introduced as husband and wife, Taylor and John excitedly waved to family and friends as they recessed down the aisle and John not only stopped in the middle of the aisle to kiss his new wife, but he even twirled her around before kissing her! As the guests enjoyed cocktail hour, we stole Taylor and John away for a few private moments in the last of the glowing sun as husband and wife. They had a most glorious sunset!
The rest of the night was a celebration in the form of an awesome band, glow sticks, and midnight snacks! S’mores, popcorn, french fries and pizza were all ready for guests to enjoy after all their dancing! It was the perfect way to end the day!
Taylor and John, we are so happy for you and loved every moment of your wedding day!
