Sunrise Engagement Session in Lavallette
No, I’m not a morning person. But, yes, waking up at 3:30am to catch the sunrise for a beach engagement session is worth it. There are two golden hour windows, the hour when the sun rises and the hour when the sun sets (give or take depending on typography and time of year!) Not all golden hours are created equal, every one is different. However, morning light tends to have a sherbet color to it, as opposed to sunset’s vivid colors. This sunrise engagement session did not fail to provide that glorious sherbet colored sky!
Since our ocean is east-facing and our New Jersey beaches are a hot spot for vacationers, sunrise is the perfect time for beach sessions!
I am super grateful to have amazing clients who trust me enough to actually wake up before the crack of dawn to get fantastic photos! Katharine and Mike are such a couple! Not only did they get up super early (we were done by 7:15am!) but they looked amazing and full of life as well! I love that they even celebrated with a bottle of Veuve Clicquot! And they have a lot to celebrate! Katharine and Mike have known each other for over 11 years! They spent years visiting Lavallette, and even got engaged at this beach! It was the perfect place to document their engagement!
Next September, we’ll have even more to celebrate when these two tie the knot at Indian Trail Club!
