Minimony at Ninety Acres

Jamie and Kevin are officially married! They turned their would-be rehearsal dinner into their minimony at Ninety Acres so they could officially get married in 2020. Although their grand wedding was originally scheduled for The Mansion at Natirar the next day, Jamie and Kevin decided to postpone one year. So, it looks like we get to celebrate with them again next year and I cannot wait!

I think this is my favorite part about the change in plans. I get so much more time with my couples. Relationships with my clients means the world to me. I think the shift in life and the way we celebrate weddings has definitely been a blessing. How? Well, I get to spend a lot more time with my couples. Also, since we’re all treading unknown waters together, it allows for open and honest conversations. I know this is not how it’s supposed to be. I know this is hard and stressful, and that’s okay. Jamie and Kevin have not even had their engagement session with me yet! Guess what? We’re going to do it next year! It’s going to be an engagement session/anniversary session in anticipation of their wedding in 2021!

Jamie and Kevin’s minimony was absolutely stunning. Jamie turned her rehearsal dinner into her legal marriage, and her closest family and friends were there to witness it.

We arrived just prior to the ceremony in Ninety Acres’ Wine Cellar (since the rain had just let up). With a few portraits of Jamie in the back garden, and a few pictures of Kevin in the front of the restaurant, we headed to the Wine Cellar for their intimate ceremony. Kevin met Jamie halfway down the aisle and hand in hand, they said their vows and are now married!

The rain cleared and we got the best of both worlds, with hazy skies and brilliant sun peeking through the trees. A few pictures with their family and friends, and they spent the rest of the beautiful evening be toasted by all of their parents, and enjoying a delicious meal.

Jamie and Kevin, thank you for making us a part of every detail of your weddings! I cannot wait to celebrate with you and everyone dearest to you next year! Thank you, Anne Molnar for your wonderful assistance as well!
