An Engagement Session at Monmouth University

Danielle and John met at Monmouth University, so what better place to take their engagement session pictures almost 10 years later? As they explained it to me, Danielle was a math tutor while they were in college and John would always come to study at the same learning center where Danielle was tutoring. And we know that led them to this wonderful place today, engaged and eager to get married!

John proposed to Danielle in the most magical place on earth. Yes, Disney World! While they were posing for a picture in front of the castle, John dropped to one knee and asked Danielle to marry him. They are planning their wedding for June at the Wave Resort and I am so excited to be part of it!

Engagement pictures at Monmouth University was perfect, given their history, but I didn’t realize what a beautiful campus they had! We met at Shadow Lawn, which was built my Horace Trumbauer, a self-taught architect who is famous for some of his mansions on exhibit in Newport, RI (which I had just recently visited!) We spent most of the session on this gorgeous estate, and even John had envisioned pictures by the tunnel, which are some of my favorites from the session! From there we finished their engagement session on the beach, just 5 minutes down the road. The sun had set and the sky turned pink and purple as they chased seagulls down the shoreline and jumped in the water for the last of the daylight.

I can’t wait to do it all again in June!
