Big Big Plans
Brian proposed the day after Tara‘s birthday by surprising her at home with pictures, flowers, and story cards from big events in their lives. On Friday, however, we celebrated the biggest event in their lives thus far, and it’s only the beginning!
Perhaps I’ve spent too much editing time binge-watching Hallmark movies and RomComs. But I just love hearing about how my couples meet, what they love doing together and all the events that brought them together to get us to the wedding day. As beautiful, classic and romantic as Tara and Brian’s wedding is, it’s quite the contrast from their first meet! Dodgeball, of course. Naturally. Although I have to say, that only a very athletic couple would be adventurous enough to climb a tall grass hill in a tux and wedding gown for wedding day pictures. I am so grateful they did too!
Sometimes we photographers come up with some pretty crazy ideas to get wonderful shots, but I cannot be blamed here! Tara and Brian told me about this great location on near the 14th hole on Fiddler’s Elbow’s golf course that they absolutely loved. Okay, it was my idea to climb the hill, but they didn’t even bat an eye at the task. I am so glad they picked it and that they gave us ample time to take pictures there! The views from this hill go on for miles and it was absolutely worth the hike!
Before heading back for reception, we got a preview of Tara & Brian‘s beautifully choreographed dance – full of twirls and lifts! What a special way to celebrate your wedding day – with a private dance with your new husband, new wife, before getting back to the hustle and bustle of your reception!
Tara and Brian, you both are such an awesome, fun and loving couple! Congratulations, again! We are so happy for you and wish you all the best!
