Becca & AP are married! Planning a wedding through a pandemic has been stressful on all our couples, so I’m always amazed to see everything come together so seamlessly! Becca is very creative and when I arrived at the Westin Governor Morris, she was busily printing the last of the signs with her Cricut on her bed! Most brides are drinking mimosas and getting primped, but Becca definitely had a creative hand in almost every aspect of the details. I had all of their details in a neat little box to get started and inside the box were “Bride/Groom” and “Becca/Alex” names. These were just samples of what would be placed at every place setting at dinner for their guests! What a cute keepsake! Instead of traditional place cards, they had champagne glasses with little tags attached to guide their guests to their tables.

Leading up to the wedding day, there were threats of rain for the exact time we would be meeting at Loantaka park for Becca and AP’s portraits. Miraculously, the rain held off, the clouds parted and we even had some sunshine for all of their portraits! AP’s reaction to seeing Becca for the first time goes down in history as one of the best. He almost fell in the lake! Just as the threat of rain clouds came overhead, we left for the Park Savoy to prepare for the ceremony.

With a quick rehearsal before Becca and AP took some time for themselves in the bridal suite, the rain came pouring down. I went to check on Becca to see how she was doing before the ceremony. She was great. She was also out of her dress and relaxing in a tablecloth! One of my favorite moments (and hers, I think!)

Just as the Rabbi arrived to sign the Ketubah, Becca was back in her dress and ready to marry her best friend. The rain slowed for AP and Becca to get over to the chapel and they married as the sun set, with their flower girl, Rosie, leading the way with her expert petal tossing.

Once reception got started, AP was on the dance floor non-stop. As Becca put it “he has moves I’ve honestly never seen before!” and it was quite impressive to watch! We ended the night with a sparkler exit and sent them back in to enjoy the rest of their fabulous band and delicious Viennese hour.
