Claudia and Drew have spent their lives together around the Jersey shore. What better place to finally tie the knot than in Point Pleasant? I met these two in Belmar over a year ago for their engagement session. We opted for a sunset session, but devoted Drew proposed to Claudia on the beach in Belmar at 7am! With a yacht club as their ceremony/reception location, Claudia wanted a thoroughly nautical theme. Bridesmaid dresses in navy blue and delicate baby’s breath with white and green florals throughout the ceremony and ballroom.

The wedding date was also very sentimental for Claudia. It is the wedding anniversary of her Mom and Step-Father. While her Mom and Dad walked Claudia down the aisle, Claudia’s Step-Father officiated the wedding. Drew and Claudia wrote their own vows – making the ceremony that much more emotional for the two of them, their wedding party and their parents. And while it down-poured in NYC, the sun shone for Claudia and Drew’s outdoor ceremony on the terrace overlooking the boats in the marina.

Throughout the day, Drew never left Claudia’s side. They were glued together always. Instead of rushing into cocktail hour, they retreated to the bridal suite to a glorious spread of snacks from Crystal Point’s impressive cocktail hour offerings. They cut their cake ahead of reception. Just the two of them.

Once the newlyweds were introduced into their reception, it was dancing all night long, aside from some wonderful toasts from lifelong friends and relatives.
