Glitter and Glamorous Details

There are many things that make up a wedding photographer’s dream. A neatly organized box of wedding details is definitely one of them! When I arrived to the bridal suite at the Mansion at Natirar, Adriana pointed toward the corner where she had her shoes, rings, invitations, shawl, jewelry, and the cutest prism for her details! She even had extra sand for the prism in case I needed it! What a great start to such a beautiful wedding!

The sparkle on Adriana’s Jimmy Choos almost made it a shame to cover them up with her gown! But more breathtaking than her shoes was her Anne Barge wedding gown that had appliqué flowers around the bottom, complimented by her veil that had the same appliqué flowers around the edges!

Together Forever

My favorite part of any wedding day is the emotion. That’s technically not a specific “part” of the day, but it’s what makes a wedding day so beautiful, special, and authentic. I’m referring to Adriana’s tears while reading Alex’s letter, and seeing him for the first time on their wedding day. Also something as simple as the hilarity of the groomsmen over whose pants pocket they were to put their hand in. Do I get another favorite? Alex’s character description presented so brilliantly by his brother during his speech, that had the entire room laughing at the reception. How about one more? End of the night shots of Adriana with her Mom in Natirar’s famous green room. Is there anything sweeter?

Adriana and Alex’s wedding is not just a story about them. It’s a story about who they are, formed by their relationships of those who raised them, supported them, and made them who they are today. Their relationship with each other is made stronger by the love and devotion of their friends and family who brought them together and witnessed their marriage. A wedding day is bigger than two people. It’s a celebration of life, love, commitment and support.

Adriana and Alex, you have something so beautiful together, and it was such a privilege to be part of your amazing winter wedding day. Congratulations! Thank you, Barbara Wentzel for being a great photographer and awesome side-kick!
