Romance In Full Bloom At This Classic Chinoiserie-Inspired Wedding

Margaux & Will’s wedding was a real celebration of getting all of their family and friends together in one location. This may sound like every other wedding, only this group of people is from every corner of the world. Most of these people had never even met! When Margaux took a chance on a nice boy she once knew and bought a ticket to visit him in New Zealand, she must have known this would turn into something special. Their guests flew in from New Zealand, England, Europe and beyond. Why Peapack, NJ? This is where Margaux, more recently, called home. Having grown up in several places as a child, including Asia, Central Jersey is where her family currently resides.

To commemorate some of her past, Margaux based her wedding inspiration off of the blue and white Asian ginger jars, or chinoiserie. Margaux grew up with these blue & white vases around the house and so did Will, thanks to him being from the South Pacific. So not only did the chinoiserie help to direct the decor and color theme, they felt it also brought some common ground and familiarity to their wedding day. Plenty of greenery was used all over the interior of Natirar’s expansive rooms, with a focus on bringing the outside in.

There were two parts to Margaux and Will’s wedding. To separate part one from part two, the bride and groom had a wardrobe change and then a sparkler “entrance” back on the dance floor! This was definitely one of my favorite events of the night! After they cut their wedding cake, they fed themselves. It was amazing.
