A pair so nice, they married twice. One year later, after their Central Park minimony, Michele and Ryan finally got to celebrate their wedding with family and friends. With a May 2020 wedding planned, these two have seen their fair share of postponements and changed plans. They were truly in the thick of the pandemic when they had to make some major decisions and lots of back and forth about when and how they were going to get married. Almost a year and a half later, their day had come.

Edgewood Country Club was a perfect fit Michele and Ryan. With lots of space and brightly lit rooms, it was great for all the girls to get ready and roam one end of the clubhouse and the guys to take over the other side, without seeing each other! The girls spent the morning glamming in comfy pajamas and matching heart socks.

Michele got dressed in front of a comfy fireplace with her Mom, as the first signs of autumn hung in the air outside. Ryan was patiently waiting to see his wife for their first look directly outside the clubhouse. As an actual married couple, I made sure that they wore their wedding bands for all of their pictures, even though we took them before the ceremony. After all, they were already married and this is their unique story! Also, Michele had new wedding bands for their second ceremony! Ryan’s expression seeing his bride is priceless. He adores Michele!

While there was some concern about the weather – with rain clouds off in the distance – I insisted there would be no rain. All day. And there was no rain. Okay, to be honest, there was a point where there were tiny little drops of rain, but I insisted they weren’t there. With a little faith, it as decided that everything would be outside. Portraits, ceremony, family pictures. It all worked out beautifully. With a seamless white sky, we were able to venture out onto the golf course to find beautifully scenic areas. Some of my favorites!

When the ceremony started, the wind picked up. You could actually see it raining in the distance, yet we had no rain! The wind made Michele’s veil fly all over the place, quite hilarious watching her parents and Ryan try to beat this veil into obedience at the front of the aisle! Married yet again, with all their family and friends, it was time for the party they waited for!

What a great party! First of all, Michele and Ryan are a fun loving couple. Secondly, Michael Hart band knows how to start a party! It was like a full on reunion for us, with four sets of previous/future wedding couple’s parents in attendance! And we got to stay until the very end! Michele and Ryan danced all night long, and Edgewood Country Club even served drinks and snacks on the dance floor! Talk about service!

Michele and Ryan, we are so happy for you! All was worth the wait, and we loved celebrating with you again! Have a wonderful time on your honeymoon – finally!
